TYTAN HVM K8 Road Blocker

The TYTAN HVM K8 Road Blocker delivers certified, tested protection against vehicle-borne attack, ideal for sites where an attacking vehicle cannot realistically reach the highest speeds.

It’s driven by a heavy-duty hydraulic power unit under PLC and inverter control, rising to its full 1,050mm height in five seconds as standard. An emergency fast raise system is available as an option, closing the opening in 1.2 seconds. Integrated safety device monitoring comes as standard, and the system works with vehicle detection loops and radar safety systems.

Made from high-grade PFC and RHS steel with an anti-slip surface applied to the top plates, it carries a 30-tonne axle load, so HGVs and everyday traffic can pass straight over it. It’s rated for 100% intensive duty, runs on a 32A three-phase supply and comes in widths from 2,500mm to 4,000mm. 

High-visibility yellow and black is standard, with custom RAL finishes available.
